Good Afternoon fellow Harry Potter fanatics!….
We know that everyone has been anxiously awaiting the newest Harry Potter film: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, to hit movie theaters on July 15th. But for those of you who can wait no longer..we have some great news in store for you..
And no we are not talking about bootleg dvd’s….

EA and Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment has announced that the video game is set to be released across all stores this week! The game will be available for Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, PSP, Windows, and Mac.
The highly anticipated game will let players step into the shoes of their favorite characters!
The game takes characters on a journey through the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The game’s highly accurate re-creation allows players to master and utilize their spell casting abilities. Players are able to maneuver through Astronomy Tower, Professor Slughorn’s Potions Classroom, the Gryffindor Common Room, and the Great Hall.
The Nintendo Wii offers the best version due to the heightened interactiveness between player and game. The Wii controller acts as a wand allowing players to easily carry out moves while navigating at the same time.
Harvey Elliot, Vp and GM Casual Studios, EA Play Label excitingly expressed, “We are very excited by the fact that fans will be able to use their Nintendo’s Wii Remote Controller as their wands. Casting charms and jinxes – stupefy Wingardium Leviosa, Accio and Petrificus Totalis among others – has never been easier or more realistic. This is definitely the most authentic translation from the movies and fiction we have ever produced; the fans are going to love it!”
Yeah,….definitely sounds like hotness!
Additional features include a potions class that shows players how to mix and brew magical concoctions and players can also play on the Gryffindor Quidditch team and embark on a quest to find the Golden Snitch.
So much excitement and the movie hasn’t even hit theaters…
