Meade DSI PRO Monochrome Buying Help!?
Now that the Meade DSI PRO (Deep Sky Imager) Monochrome is only 129$ I really think I want to pick one up. I am very interested in Astronomy and astrophotography and am only 16 years old. I think its the greatest science in the world.
What I want to know is how useful and fun will I have with this CCD camera for its price.
I live just north of Pittsburgh PA and own a Celestron C-8S GT on equatorial mount *love it*. How User friendly will this be if I really put effort and time into making it work to its potential for me.
thanks for all your help,
Matt
Several of my friends have this camera, and have gotten excellent results with it. You should be aware that it’s on sale because a new model with a larger chip will be shipping soon, but it’s still a great opportunity to get a good camera for a very reasonable price.
