Anyone know of an OLD/ANTIQUE Astronomy book or article that would make a good gift?
I want to go onto Google Books and print off a rare book as a gift. In order to print the full book off of Google it has to be passed its copyright date. So I thought an old astronomy book or astronomy subject would be great. The only problem is I don’t know of any. I’m open to anything astronomy (NOT ASTROLOGY) related. It could be scientific or poetic.
If I understand it correctly you only want free online books that you can print. It is not clear if you want the result to *look* old or if it just needs to be old and can be plain text printed normally. If it is the latter, I suggest the book, “Flatland, a Romance of Many Dimensions”. Everyone interested in things like the big bang, other dimensions, and curved space time should read this boor (if they do not already understand the concepts).
